Resolved Question: Taking out and replacing drywall, permanent damage?
I purchased a new contruction home in a new subdivision in TN. The deed has nothing listed about an easement on the property I purchased. The plat shows the easement on my neighbors property with her lot being larger to accomodate the the easement. The easement is supposed to be 15 feet wide for a large storm drain to run between her house and my property line without the easement being on my lot. The storm drain is not supposed to be on my property at all. Recently while having a fence installed she discovered her lot was short 15 feet on width. The surveyor & engineer verified that our houses had positioned incorrectly on our lots. The easement runs at an angle from front corner of my house and the back corner of her house. Both houses are actually sitting on top of the easement with only 15 feet between them. The builder has told us that he would do what ever it takes to make us happy. What damages if any should I seek from the builder/title company?

Resolved Question: Taking out and replacing drywall, permanent damage?
Does having the plumber remove a couple square feet of my wall and then covering it up with drywall cause any permanent damage?
It's a new home and it has a somewhat discretionary plumbing problem (clicking caused by thermal expansion of pipes when hot water passes through). The builder will fix it for free, but I'm worried about damaging the wall.
Thanks.
